About Aspen Aerials – A Time Manufacturing Company

Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Duluth, Minnesota, Aspen Aerials has become a trusted name in the specialized field of bridge inspection equipment. From the very beginning, we have focused on solving one of infrastructure’s most critical challenges: enabling engineers and technicians to safely access hard-to-reach areas of bridges without causing unnecessary disruption.

Over the years, we have earned a reputation for delivering innovative, durable, and user-friendly bridge inspection trucks and cranes that consistently meet the demanding needs of inspection and maintenance teams.

Since becoming part of Time Manufacturing Company in 2018, we have been able to combine our expertise with the resources of a global leader in access equipment. This partnership has strengthened our ability to innovate, expand production, and serve a wider range of customers across North America, Europe, and beyond.

Today, Aspen Aerials is recognized not only for our advanced engineering, but also for our commitment to supporting government agencies, municipalities, and contractors who are responsible for keeping bridges safe and operational.

What Sets Aspen Aerials Apart

At the core of Aspen Aerials’ success is its unique no-outrigger design, which allows bridge inspection trucks to be deployed quickly and safely without the need for stabilizing legs. This approach eliminates the risk of damaging bridge decks, reduces lane closures, and allows vehicles to move while the boom is extended – creating significant time savings and efficiency for inspection teams.

Combined with advanced control systems, telescoping and rotating platforms, and customizable options, Aspen Aerials equipment is purpose-built to give inspectors the flexibility they need to handle complex tasks with confidence.

Serving a Global Market

At Aspen Aerials, we manufacture all of our bridge inspection equipment at our facility in Duluth, where skilled engineers and technicians oversee every stage of design and assembly. From there, equipment is distributed through trusted networks, including Sourcewell in the U.S. and certified partners across Europe. This global presence ensures that governments and private organizations alike have access to the most reliable bridge inspection solutions available.

Whether supporting large state Departments of Transportation in the U.S. or helping European agencies meet strict CE standards, we play a vital role in maintaining critical infrastructure worldwide.

Long-Term Value Through Refurbishment

Recognizing the significant investment bridge inspection equipment represents, we offer our Factory Rebuild Program to extend the lifecycle of its trucks by another decade or more. Through this program, older units are returned to the factory, fully inspected, refurbished, and tested to meet both manufacturer and ANSI standards.

This not only protects safety and performance, but also provides organizations with a cost-effective way to maintain modern, reliable fleets without purchasing new equipment.

Innovation Through Partnership

What truly defines Aspen Aerials is our close relationship with the people who use our products. By actively listening to bridge engineers and inspection professionals, we continually refine our designs to address real-world challenges. This collaborative approach has shaped a product line that is known for safety, efficiency, and ease of use – and has built lasting trust with our customers.

For Aspen Aerials, innovation is not just about engineering; it is about delivering solutions that help keep communities connected, infrastructure strong, and the traveling public safe.
